About Genesis Project

The musicians of Genesis Project are passionate fans of both the progressive Genesis of the early years and the band's later, more accessible sound. For 25 years, they have been performing shows in which authenticity, musicianship, and a love for the original music take center stage.

Over the past two years, Genesis Project successfully toured with their show Two Sides Live, highlighting the different musical faces of Genesis through Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins.

With their new show Philled with Collins, Genesis Project takes a step further forward in time. This time, the focus is on the versatility of Phil Collins: on one hand as the frontman of Genesis, and on the other as a hugely successful solo artist. Phil’s story is told, and entertaining anecdotes are shared along the way. Featuring two drummers/percussionists, this is a polished contemporary show that will not disappoint even the most devoted Genesis fan. Genesis Project is much more than a tribute band and fully immerses you in the world of the intelligent rock music of Genesis and Phil Collins.

As audiences of Genesis Project have come to expect, this music is brought to life with passion, attention to detail, and respect for the original recordings. Experience an evening filled with Genesis and Phil Collins classics from the period 1976 to 1990, featuring hits such as Land of Confusion, Follow You Follow Me, That’s All, Invisible Touch, In The Air Tonight, Against All Odds, and You Can’t Hurry Love.

Close your eyes and you will feel as though you have traveled back 40–50 years in time. Keep them open and enjoy a spectacular show, complete with a dynamic lighting production and stunning projected visuals.

About Genesis and Phil Collins

Genesis was founded in 1967. When Phil Collins joined the band as drummer in 1970, Genesis evolved into a unique combination of artistic ambition and musical craftsmanship. In 1975, Collins became the lead vocalist, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the band. The sound changed, but this proved to be the start of a period of unprecedented success.

With albums and worldwide hits such as Turn It On Again, Mama, Invisible Touch, and Land of Confusion, Genesis captured the hearts of millions around the globe. At the same time, Phil Collins built an impressive solo career that produced a series of timeless classics.

Hi

Roland was born in 1964. Progressive Rock motivated him to play the electrical guitar at the age of 12. Genesis, Yes, King Crimson and Pink Floyd are his most favorite bands and as a guitarist and singer he used to play songs from these bands in several cover bands. This is the second time Roland joins the band, in 2010-2012 he also sung the Lamb and Seconds Out show.

What people say about Genesis Project

It is alwyas good the read what people say about us.

Excellent concert in De Boerderij. I think they performed the Lamb Lies Down on Broadway better than the original. The 2 encores "Watcher of the Skies" and "The Return of the Giant Hogweed" were fantastic. Good show. It was well travelling over from the UK for (900 miles round trip).

Excellent show this sunday @ Spirit of 66 Verviers. Thanx a lot for this good evening

Afgelopen zaterdag aanwezig in De Boerderij. Wederom genoten, om zo'n moeilijk album live te kunnen neerzetten moet je toch wel lef en klasse hebben.....en dat hebben jullie. Nog bedankt voor de heerlijke avond!

Excellent !

Apart from the superb performance of the Lamb, the performance of The Return of the Giant Hogweed was simply far much better than the guys of Transatlantic did on the High Voltage festival in London. And even though they had Steve Hackett on guitar, your performance was much more authentic. Especially the vocals were amazing. Neal Morse eat your heart out...

Geweldige avond. Met de perfecte afsluiter. Het was weer de moeite waard om meer dan 100 km te rijden.

Super Konzert! Freuen uns auf Seconds Out! Frank u. Silvia, Bad Bentheim

Geweldig concert gisteren in de Stenge, soms even met je ogen dicht, terug in de tijd, alsof het Genesis zelf is bedankt.
